We stand behind our repair work and the wheelchairs we sell. Repair work is covered by a 90-day limited warranty. Wheelchairs sold directly by us, including pre-owned wheelchairs, are covered by a 90-day limited warranty for covered technical defects. Standard non-defective returns are available for 30 days from receipt, subject to the conditions below.
1. 90-Day Limited Repair Warranty
Repair work performed by us is covered by a 90-day limited warranty beginning on the date the repair is completed.
If a problem occurs during the warranty period, contact us and describe the issue. We may perform reasonable troubleshooting first. When an in-person visit is appropriate, we will arrange a follow-up visit.
The repair warranty applies to the work we performed and to parts supplied by us for that repair, unless a different written warranty is stated for a specific part. It does not cover a new or unrelated problem elsewhere on the wheelchair or mobility equipment.
If the follow-up inspection shows that the reported issue is unrelated to our prior repair, the visit and any additional repair are not covered by the warranty. We will explain the issue and any applicable charges before additional non-warranty work is performed.
2. Replacement Battery Warranty
Our workmanship for battery installation is covered by the 90-day repair warranty described above.
When we install new replacement batteries covered by a one-year manufacturer warranty, the batteries are covered against eligible manufacturer defects for up to one year from the applicable purchase or installation date, subject to the battery manufacturer's warranty terms and exclusions.
Battery capacity naturally decreases with age and use. Reduced runtime caused by normal wear, improper charging, long-term storage in a discharged state, misuse, physical damage, or another condition excluded by the manufacturer is not considered a covered manufacturer defect.
3. 90-Day Limited Warranty on Wheelchairs We Sell
Unless a product listing or written sales document states different coverage, wheelchairs sold directly by us, including pre-owned wheelchairs, are covered by a 90-day limited warranty beginning on the date the customer receives the wheelchair. A warranty claim must be reported to us within that 90-day period.
If a wheelchair also includes a separate manufacturer warranty, that manufacturer warranty may provide additional coverage under its own terms.
The warranty covers confirmed mechanical or electrical defects that affect the normal operation of the wheelchair and arise during normal intended use, except for conditions specifically disclosed before the sale or excluded below.
We may offer troubleshooting or repair when appropriate, but a confirmed covered technical defect qualifies for a warranty return under this policy.
4. 30-Day Return Policy
A wheelchair may be returned for a non-warranty reason within 30 calendar days after the customer receives it. Please contact us before returning the wheelchair so we can authorize the return and provide the correct return instructions and destination.
For a standard 30-day return, the wheelchair must be returned in substantially the same condition in which it was received, with the same included equipment and accessories, and without new damage, missing parts, unauthorized modifications, or excessive use beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect and evaluate the wheelchair.
For a standard return without a covered defect, the customer is responsible for the actual costs of delivery or shipping to the customer and the cost of returning the wheelchair to us, including required packaging and shipping protection. If outbound shipping was included in the purchase price or advertised as free, the actual outbound shipping cost may be deducted from the refund.
5. Shipped Orders and Warranty Returns
If a wheelchair was shipped to the customer and a covered technical defect is reported within the 90-day warranty period, we will provide or authorize the reasonable return-shipping method. When the covered defect is confirmed after inspection, we pay the authorized return-shipping cost and refund the full amount paid to us for the wheelchair, including any sales tax and original delivery or shipping charge paid to us for that order.
The customer must follow the return-shipping and packaging instructions we provide. Additional shipping costs created by an unauthorized shipping method, unnecessary expedited service, or inadequate packaging may not be covered.
If the wheelchair is returned as defective but our inspection does not identify the reported covered defect:
- If the return is still within the 30-day standard return period, the customer may complete a standard return, but actual outbound shipping, return shipping, packaging, and other non-recoverable shipping costs may be deducted from the refund.
- If the 30-day standard return period has already expired, a return is not available solely because a defect was alleged but not confirmed. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the wheelchair back to the customer unless otherwise required by applicable law.
6. Inspection and Refund Timing
All returned wheelchairs are inspected and function-tested after they are received.
For a warranty return, we will determine whether the reported condition is a covered technical defect. For a standard 30-day return, we will also inspect the wheelchair for new damage, missing equipment, or other changes in condition.
After we initiate a refund, the time required for the funds to appear in the customer's account may depend on the bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
7. What the Limited Warranty Does Not Cover
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the limited warranties in this policy do not cover problems caused by:
- Accidents, collisions, drops, impact, improper transport, or other physical damage after delivery.
- Water, excessive moisture, flooding, fire, or environmental damage.
- Misuse, abuse, operation outside the equipment's intended use, or exceeding the manufacturer's weight or operating limits.
- Unauthorized modification, wiring changes, programming changes, or repair by another person after our repair or sale when that action caused or contributed to the problem.
- Normal wear and tear or ordinary deterioration from use.
- Cosmetic condition, wear, scratches, or other conditions that were disclosed before purchase and do not prevent normal operation.
- A new or unrelated failure that is not connected to the repair work previously performed by us.
- Battery conditions that are excluded by the applicable battery manufacturer's warranty.
We do not deny warranty coverage merely because another person serviced the product. An exclusion applies only when the excluded condition or action caused or contributed to the claimed problem.
8. How to Request Warranty Service or a Return
Contact us before shipping or transporting a wheelchair back to us. Returns should not be shipped without our return instructions. Please provide:
- Your name and contact information.
- Proof of purchase or repair, when available.
- The wheelchair or equipment brand and model.
- A description of the problem or reason for return.
- Photos or a short video when they can help us understand the issue.
We will provide the next steps, including troubleshooting, a service visit when applicable, or return-shipping instructions.
